What is matt casamassina?

Matt Casamassina is a video game journalist and former editor-in-chief of the popular video game website, IGN. He began his career as a writer and reviewer for the video game magazine, Nintendo Power, before joining IGN in 1996 where he worked for 14 years.

During his time at IGN, Casamassina became known for his in-depth and insightful reviews, as well as his coverage of the Nintendo gaming console. He also appeared regularly on IGN's video content, including the Nintendo-focused series, NVC.

In 2010, Casamassina left IGN to co-found the mobile game development company, Handheld Games Corp. He has since worked as a game developer and consultant for various companies, including Apple, where he served as a senior manager for the App Store's games division.

Casamassina has written several books about video games, including "Wii Fitness for Dummies" and "Game On! Video Game History from Pong and Pac-Man to Mario, Minecraft and More". He continues to write about video games and the gaming industry on his personal website, mattcasamassina.com.
